Finally, it's out! It's a new type of credit card multimedia player which I discovered last November. See my (post ) on it. However, it's launched with some modifications and is a letdown from what was revealed during the first concept.

This is the first concept picture which I uploaded last November. This clearly showed that it was intended as a wallet-type concept with one side featuring an OLED screen and the other side a slim device with a slot for a credit card that has a memory chip built-in. Now, the original concept appears to have been dropped and what we're getting is a typical-looking multimedia device which is no different from the rest. It shouldn't be too difficult surely, since I have to say the credit card slots are another modification of the SD or microSD slots.

This concept was created by Kookmin Bank and Samsung SDI and it seems their plan was introduce a new credit card with a memory chip (max. 2GB inside) and to find ways to expand sales of OLED screens. However, the final design required customers to carry around another device to use the credit card memory and this device wasn't new compared with the other latest multimedia players.
